  • NAU-Yavapai’s Mission

In 2010, Northern Arizona University, Yavapai College, and the Town of Prescott Valley partnered to open the NAU-Yavapai campus. A part of NAU’s Extended Campuses network of statewide campuses, NAU-Yavapai provides students with access to high-quality bachelor’s degrees that are accelerated, affordable, and designed to prepare them for today’s job market.

Through innovative hybrid classes that meet weekly on the Prescott Valley campus, NAU-Yavapai seeks to:

    • Reduce the time to degree completion to three years.
    • Provide high-quality education at an affordable tuition.
    • Deliver personal attention and student-focused instruction.
    • Provide a dynamic university campus experience in north central Arizona.
    • Prepare students for post-graduate opportunities, including employment and advanced degrees.

    Institutional Accreditation

Northern Arizona University, including the Yavapai campus, is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission (HLC). For details, visit www.hlcommission.org.
